SoCal CAN was founded on the shared belief that no singular organization, program or institution could alone eliminate the deep-seated inequities in college access and attainment, but together significant strides could be made. During the last fifteen years, SoCal CAN has demonstrated the power of networked action. Together, we have supported thousands of students in pursuing their college and career dreams, forged strategic partnerships to expand the universe of support available to underrepresented students, and advocated at the institutional, state and federal levels for policies and practices that advance student success.
